Hi Maurice, LOL...I just got a little crazy here in north San Diego County last night. I mean it is like a festering sore, thinking about how right here at the fountainhead of Qualcomm in San Diego, AT&T bought General Telephone (GTE) Wireless and is converting it AWAY from CDMA. Boggles my mind. Like watching your kids grow up and do stupid things you've been telling them not to do for 20 years. I know the buyout has been the subject of conversation on the QCOM threads for quite awhile, but I just got my letter from T, advising about the changeout and telling me to go down and swap my [Qualcomm] phone for a Nokia...They even said the system was being upgraded to TDMA...what a joke. To add insult to injury, Verizon bought the GTE wireless portion OUTSIDE of San Diego county and so for customer service there is a lot of finger-pointing at this stage. Thanks for the response Maurice. You're a good sport for even trying to read my jibberish...too bad I did not have the sense to write the King's English. Wish I had the shekels for three GSP-1600 phones, but our needs are rather plebian. I am familiar with GSTRF and had the stock last year. And, yes, I will probably be sad in a few years that I did not buy a gazillion shares yesterday when it rose against a sour market. In any case, hope you are having a great summer.
