Maurice: <Actually, the Ramseys and Mqurices of the world DO own the place, [the USA, [companies within it anyway, [and real estate!]]]. Ramsey even gets to vote in USA elections. Heck, his vote even counts, whereas yours is just an electoral college trash-can donation. >

Good form on the mathematical equation! I am sure Jon K. appreciates it!

<Anyway, this is hereby declared a Libertarian stream. >

Maurice:

Given your fondness for our Philanderer-In-Chief, don't you mean "Libertine stream"? Most Libertarians of my acquaintance loath Clinton as a perjurer.

Not thinking about things won't be that great for you Aloha Mike. People who let other people or slogans do their thinking for them are likely to get swept away in a tsunami.

I was born at night Maurice, but good grief, not LAST night. I don't let other people do ALL my thinking for me, that is indeed a recipe for disaster. But there are a lot of important and reasonable situations where the delegation of my authority makes sense. For me, trying to control every idea, and micro-managing every aspect and responsibility of my life is a recipe for burn-out and/or some kind of mental breakdown.

I may be oversimplifying but isn't that what the service-sector is all about. We take things we either don't have the time, talent, or desire to do and appoint (a narrowly focused) someone else to do it in our stead? While some may look at delegation or representation as a recipe for disaster in the extreme, it is also an excellent and efficient way to actually broaden your power base and ultimately accomplish more.
