You think I'm happy that service providers haven't ponied up more money?? Not. I see no reason why multi-Billion dollar companies bidding out the ying yang for pie in the sky 3G licenses should receive financing from G*. But that's the way its structured. They have to meet their contractural obligations and I believe they are reimbursing G*/Q/Lor when gateways are accepted and phones sold. Do you have indications that they are not???

Now I admit that they have not shown a great deal of interest in plunking down more cash to keep us afloat or increasing marketing effort. That's a huge disappointment and something that must be corrected, which is the point of my suggestions.

By the way, your analogy of the guy that almost runs out of gas and pays $3.00 for a gallon is a little off base. I think G* should be compared to a guy who runs out of gas in the middle of nowhere. Suddenly a service truck comes by and pulls over with 2-3 gallons of gas and pours into the customers tank. "That will be $15.00" ($3 for the 3 gallons of gas and $12 to pay overhead). What man or women wouldn't cheerfully reach into their pocket for such life-saving and efficiency producing service?? That's what G* is all about my friend. Now if we can just get the word out!!!
