What a wonderful concept. It is very premature but this may be the first time in along time that Buying The Dips will payoff. JMHO

9 7/8 sure looks cheap now doesn't it - to be honest I was blinded in the light and froze up like a deer.

This longer term chart, perhaps shows the transition even better.http://www.siliconinvestor.com/research/chart.gsp?i3=4&i2=1&i1=6&i0=8&smaema=1&bbpct=2&period=120&lr=25&compare=&obv=5&chart1=ma&ma2=20&ma1=5&dmi=10&rsi=14&macd2=26&macd1=12&rbv=1&cci=60&sk=12&bbprd=10&s=ltxx&chart=candle&wpr=0&sd=5&mt=22&lotemp=&scale=linear&macds=9&time=day

I was surprised by the strength of LTXX yesterday. When a stock holds up like that, you can be sure there is "information" circulating somewhere. Looking at fundamentals, the PE is still absurdly low, and interest rate decreases make the semis more attractive. Perhaps the test equipment makers are not so vulnerable to market downturns. Anyway, it is contrary to what LTXX usually does, which is to follow the market strongly on down days. CMOS has done well recently, but sank yesterday with the market. I am still concerned by the lack of new announcements by LTXX. However, I am still holding.

Robert

PS: trades were mostly close to $15 all day. I hope that's not a buy-out price.

Has anyone on this thread looked at Amkor (AMKR)? It's profits are said to be safe in this market. I am looking to build a basket of stocks, having watched LTXX underperform during the last bull run.
