flatsville, Ah, the wild card. Aren't Supreme Courts just lovely this year ? On the other hand, citizens of California have recall power over their state Supreme Court, if I'm not mistaken, which they don't over Scamalia's gang of five. Remember Rose Bird ? You're right though, this will be a titanic battle. Had this "deregulation" passed by initiative, I would have suggested that residents shut their mouths and eat the costs. But it didn't - it was a cobbled dream foist upon us by industry and their hand picked legislators while we were busy with our lives. We woke up one day and huh ? there it was. I figured we were in trouble when these two bit operations from New Hampshire came in a few years ago sending us unintelligible junk mail to Let Them be our New Energy Providers ! Say what ? Then they quickly disappeared after converting less than 1% of residential users.
