The NPR segment I heard dealing specifically with the Right of Return- had on it a Jewish woman, living in the residence of former Palestinians (confiscated over 50 years ago), whose father's home in Vienna had been confiscated during WWII. As she said, her father had always wanted to return to Vienna. The history of the world is a history of displaced people who can't go home.

Now of course that is a self serving argument for her to make. But is also makes sense. It isn't fair, but it wouldn't be practical to relocate several million people in the Middle East nor would it probably lead to stability.
