Peter, I will try to maintain my spreadsheets consistent with observations like the ones you mentioned by James and others. Periodically, I will email you the update, which includes comment notes citing data sources. If you could update the lily pond site accordingly, then I think we have a workable system. In addition, as far as I am concerned, others are welcomed to email updates to me, or you, Peter. However, I think the best place to express views about lily ponds is on the thread. Finally, I received Private Messages suggesting two things: (1) The lily pond web site should make it clear that it is NOT an agent of, or in any way endorsed by, WindRiver Systems. The lily pond is an ad hoc effort of interested investors and does not necessarily reflect the views, and certainly not the guidance, of WIND management. Indeed, the point of the site is to think outside the guidance box. We have little interest in accurately estimating upcoming quarters, but we are very interested in forecasting possible inflection points occurring over the next year, two or three. Consequently, if our lily pond forecasts miss the mark, the error lies strictly with us, not management. This means there is no such thing as “the company missed its lily ponds numbers.” We are the only ones that can disappoint because we are the ones prognosticating. (2) What we mean by lily ponds should be defined on the web site. (Let me know if you need help with the definition.) Allen
