tHANKS FOR POSTING THAT LITTLE GOODIE. Couldn't agree more with what you say. In 20/20 hidsight the splurge was probably understandable but foolish. No doubt they had the impression that with ICGE backing there was no place to go but up.....they had lots of company. Never in the history of the world have so many people been so wrong about a fairly transparent situation.

You're right tho' let's put it in the history book and get on to see what management is really made of.

Cheers

100k ft2 @ $50/ft2 ??? Is that right? Of course they'd have to give up seafood lunches....

Doesn't the internet backbone run between Boston and Silicon Valley? Probably through a desert or two even <g>. The promise of distributed work sites sure hasn't come to fruition. Server farms must be tilled in the absolute most expensive ground. Not that BWAY is only about rented IS hardware but sheesh. Remember that obnoxious IBM ad about this limo-driven angry boss in the middle of nowheresville. Angry until he epiphanates about the internet. Big Blue sure missed that one.... Hell, Micron sprouted from the potato fields and Gateway from cow patties. Maybe states that begin in "I" are also connected to the internet backbone.

And speaking of capital I's, shouldn't we capitalize "airwaves"?

Sorry for the rant <g>
