Mike, this is one of the things that really worries me. In '29, a vast percentage of the economy was safe because the essentials will be consumed no matter what (food, clothing, shelter, etc). Today, I've read that 1 farmer can do what took 17 back in the day. Same for all other industries. The bottom line is that it now takes a much lower percentage of the workforce to provide these "essentials".

So WTF happens when things go to shit this time? Not a pleasant site IMVHO.
