OPEC will have no choice...unless it wants to see a complete collapse in the price of crude. production cuts are the only rational reaction to weakening economic trends. it is btw. BETTER for the long term health of the energy markets and the economy in general when a price collapse in crude is avoided. otherwise supply shortages will eventually get even worse than they have recently proven to be.
