KG - If we look back to the posts in April - Sep last year don't we see the same comments and yet here we are thousands of points lower and still heading down in lurches.

The big difference is thought to be the lowering of interest rates but it seems to me that the level of dmamge done to the economy by the high interest rates sustained for so long may be very difficult to repair.
