No I don't use it. I am a day worker and only have the EOD version 6.52 MetaStock. I am quite content to keep this until I retire and start trading more often and heavy doing this as a living during the day for real. As long as I only trade like now ( a few trades trades a day to maybe a couple a week) the EOD version serves me fine. Since I have all night to run the charts and look them over, I find my own formations and don't need an automated aid. I also have built numerous scans over the years to focus my attention on what I want to trade.

I would imagine that the add on would be useful to someone tracking a lot of stocks during the day on the fly when day trading to help take the bias out of making decisions. You know, the ones where you are long and ignore the big bearish wedge convincing yourself that it is a ascending triangle <ggggg>

Good Luck,

Lee

patterns are very subjective.. and it depends on timeframes of patterns. i wouldn't get it.

i recall years ago, there was mswin addon for trendlines and S&R.. didn't work that well.

Wandering by, I saw the Murphy ref, Ken.

A very successful trader that I know just bot it and RT to supplement QCharts -- he's very happy with it at this point.
