From either direction. I used to stop at a BBQ place and buy ribs. Black BBQ place. The people there were very nice but a few of the patrons mentioned whitey. I don't go there anymore. Damn shame because I liked the guys ribs and he needs the business.

But may I be seriously politically incorrect? What do we have to do to achieve that? Can it even be done?

Why is it that the US imports millions of Asians, many of who arrive here with essentially nothing (the Vietnamese, for example) and they fairly quickly become self-supporting and many go on to achieve great success and several minorities who have been here for centuries cannot?
They have to learn a new language. They have to learn new customs. They have to learn new ways of doing business. They have also suffered discrimination. For decades Asians could not own land in California. Further immigration of Asians was blocked for decades. Still they persisted and achieved success.

What is going on here?
