Isoman, based solely on your post, it appears NRES still owes Astrom $1M in stock. Very creative use of the $300K. Astrom allegedly writes out a check for $300K as a down payment of the $1M, which he later gets back as a "management fee" not as a form of repayment (i.e. the money does not count toward reducing the principal). Then, to maximize the number of shares he can get for his $1M, he effects a 3-1 forward split. I guess with a stock trading at .015 and not much dollar volume, it's easier to forward split than short the price down. Let me predict the future... after the conversion (which at, say, .02, adds 50M shares) NRES then reverse splits, issues a few PRs, and you know the rest!
