General question...

The business press is filling with stories about the plunging cost of bandwidth. The price is 50% lower this year than last, and it is expected to fall lower next year.

If falling energy prices help airlines, why can falling bandwidth prices help ATHM?

Oops. I guess I should have searched for my prior posts. I think you misread the import of my comments in 26249. Grace, my comment below was based on a quick review of the financials, not any special knowledge of ATHM's inside track to get $$$$. Remember, they are controlled by T so they could get $$$$ if needed, even without their strong balance sheet. I don't know any more about it than you do.

"Given ATHM's minimal debt, I'm sure they would have no trouble getting a private debt placement, with or without convertible features, or preferred stock."
