What good will it do, I often wonder, if I teach my children well when no one else is? But that's just stinkin' thinkin'. I do my best. We don't have cable and we don't let the kids watch commercial TV- so we buy a lot of videos. We just picked up some excellent Narnia videos- brilliant adaptations. We've let them see some foreign movies- Ponette, The White Balloon, Children of Heaven, Not One Less. There are some truly marvelous cinematic offerings, but so many of them are never seen by the average movie viewer. Sigh
