There are plenty of early warning signs and many people ignore them. Why? Denial. It's terrible to face mental illness in someone you love. Teenagers are unstable. Even the very best behaved teenagers have impulse control problem because they simply don't have the brains adults do. I wouldn't trust any teen with a gun. Just as I wouldn't trust any child with one. Leaving one around, is an invitation to chance.

I am appalled by leaving weapons out where kids and teens can find them and use them and I am appalled by violence in the media. I don't see those positions as terribly left or radical. Are you arguing FOR giving teens guns, because if we don't give them guns they'll just find another way to kill? Because quite frankly that seems to be your argument. And I don't agree with it.
