Daytrading A simple response. It is at the level of a hobby. I have a bit of background in finance, yes, so it helps me to understand the inadequacies of some of companies to maintain quarter to quarter earnings results. I would like to swing trade but having come into my retirement at a time that was inappropriate for longer term investing, I find I can daytrade once or twice a day and still enjoy other activities. Daytrading doesn't have to be sitting in front of the computer making 20 to 30 trades a day. It can be just 7 or 8 trades a week if they are the right trades. I look at it solely as a challenging diversion which should keep my gray cells active for another couple of years, hopefully.

Daytrading doesn't have to be sitting in front of the computer making 20 to 30 trades a day. I have had some experience in investigating small companies and know what to look for so I find shorting highly exigent. It can be just 7 or 8 trades a week if they are the right trades. I look at it solely as a challenging diversion which should keep my gray cells active for another couple of years, hopefully.
