Dan- It gives them something to do while their PC business tanks. To be a real money grabber though, it will need widespread availability of cheap broadband which hasn't been happening much since the banks found out they were going to be working out their communications loans. I guess Bill will start with slow copper and ride the the bandwidth curve like he rode the cpu MHz curve.

It's just the earnings gap that makes things interesting. I don't think Steve going around at night turning off the lights will help much, even at California prices.

I sold my MSFT and bought a trucking company. What a joy to hold sub 10x earnings and growing faster than MSFT's.
