Flats,

It is no longer a mystery to me why Greenie lowered rates so quickly. I went to fill up my propane tanks today. Three weeks ago the price was $1.65 a gallon. Today it was $2.49. LOL- Do you know if the rest of the Nation is having it's propane prices surge like this?

If you can find the shows on the energy scandal on Flashpoints they start where the article you posted leaves off. The one that talks about the companies shutting down to intentionally create a power shortage. If Memory serves correct the guest's on Dennis's show said there were more companies involved and it went on periodically for most of the summer. The also gave a list of shell companies that had very similar names to the companies that are going broke. They had good profits. I'll see what I can dig up at the radio4allweb site. If you find that show on Flash Points let me know I'd love a copy, even though I already heard it once.. Oh yes, Bernstein also mentioned that California electric rates may increase almost as much as in San Diego. %80 increase was the figure most used.

Brief blip on the Bush connection between ENE and the CA energy scandal. I am looking for others.

savepacifica.net

then click on December 22 newscast it does not have a direct link. You get a brief description. I think the full report is an mp3 audio file. CLick around to find it. I downloaded media plaer & but it is not working.
