BRCM has a conference call scheduled for before the market opens. CFO is doing it and talks about a major announcement.

It can't be a warning.

Most people say it is the US Robotics deal announced this weekend.

It might help BRCM, but I don't think it will prevent BRCM from more downside.

The market seems to be out to kill high PE regardless.

What do you think?

Jenna:

What is up with RI regarding earnings? Any ideas for Monday on this stock? What happened to GNSS also? Unable to find a "confirmed" earnings post date.

Jenna - do we know for certain GLW missed their numbers?

From the articles out there it says "He said 2000 revenues were more than $7 billion, up from $4.7 billion in 1999. Earnings rose 70 percent from the $525 million posted last year. Analysts on average expect revenues of $7.16 billion in 2000"

It doesn't say under the expected $7.16 billion anywhere. Is there some other source of info out there that has the actual numbers posted? C26
