OT: Alas, David; though you have driven your nail true, the jello continues its slide towards the floor.

Dave....

Let me answer that question....from my recollection...

The answer from J.T after serious deliberation and hours of deep thought ......

"To get an all expenses paid vacation to San Diego four times a year to smoke a few cigars".

And that was one of his more thought provoking answers.

And he wonders why we don't take him seriously.

Dave, they are EX Intel execs. They are retired.

One of the advantage of being an ex Intel exec is that companies will offer to put you on their board of directors. You get some money, and you get to travel for free a few times a year.

Some ex-execs may want to enhance their image, and get on the BOD of big Silicon Valley companies.

Others may find the weather in San Diego nicer, and the nominal pay just as good. Plus, some nice wallpaper (EDIG shares) for the spare bathroom. :)
