Bland is doing acceptably well. He is simply doing the easy thing and selling calls on the peaks and buying them back on the dips, or letting them expire completely. He doesn't have time during market hours for much else anymore. And his largest position, in TQNT, has fortunately facilitated this strategy almost perfectly, as you can see from glancing at its chart for the past 8-12 months.
All told, bland really didn't have too bad of a year in 2000, so he's not wringing his hands over the market just yet.

Thank you for the kind words. Bland has just been munching some marinated olives stuffed with garlic, so he sees no legitimate reason to be immediately offended by comments about his breath.
