Shareholders, Bankruptcy, and NSF

America West Airlines is another example of a company that went through Chapter 11 bankruptcy where original stockholders came out fine in the end. Unfortunately, I followed the published advice of an "expert" financial advisor who proclaimed that stockholders always get wiped out in bankruptcies. I sold instead of following my instincts and hanging on to the stock.

In the case of Shaman, I don't know if there is any hope for stockholders. As a "going concerns", Shaman has little in common with America West at the time of its bankruptcy.

Is the NSF on the shelves of GNC stores yet?
