Hey Dennis,

Ever consider what the big multi nationals have been doing to protect their bottom line against a falling Euro? With its recent rise against the dollar I would imagine some of their hedges are in deep doo doo. The weaker dollar will add pennies to their bottom line but it won't happen overnight. The lag time may really hit them hard. Although rate cuts generally don't due much for ones currency if it is big enough to ignite a stock market rally the currency will rise along with the markets. Besides raising rates at this time to boost the currency is pretty much out of the question. Time will tell.
