Unfortunately, I fear a war also, the tragedy, is however, there is nothing that the Pa;estian could get with war that they could not get with negotiations. There is no valid strategic goal for a war, except for Saddam and possibly Syria, and that strategic goal is taking between them portions or all of Jordan, the Palestinian, just like 50 years ago, will be the losers once more. The Palestinians have been used by the ME despots shamelessly as pawns for hegemony in the region, and they'll be used again.

The demand of "freedom of return" the Plestinian are asking for will destabilize Europe, if it is acceded to, no way Europe will accept this if they really understand that acceding to this demand will set an international judicial precedent that the aggressor need not lose territory as a result of its aggression. The 67 and 73 wars as well as the 48 war were initiated by the Arab side, in order to throw Israel to the sea, a territotrial expansion goal, just as the German wanted pieces off France, Poland, Chechoslovakia etc., the German had to cede Breslau, Danzig (both now Polish), Koeningsburg (now Russian), Alsace Lorraine (now French). If the principle of "Right of return" is allowed Germany will eventually want all these territories back, a bunch of Greek will want back their homes in Turkey and so on...The principle should be quite simple, you go to war in hope of making territorial gains, be ready to lose some of that territory if you lose.
