TP, over 20% growth was given as a ref.( on NT and ALA CC)
for industry growth, not specific company.
Both said they will grow above industry growth.

Stocker, NT made one comment about knocking the cover off of the ball. All year NT was giving guidance of 10 billion. Why Roth chose to express an extreme number is a mystery to me given his previous conservatism. Growth in optical networking products was phenomenal YoY and is being guided at better than 20% growth next year. tp

That's what I think has concerned the street. NT had set the bar pretty high and then disappointed. Then they came right back and set an aggressive target again. That's scared a lot of the risk/reward people into sitting on the sidelines a while.

Their numbers have still been great but the market looks ahead. They feel epectations for growth are declining, not rising. Nobody wants to pay for the risk that the fears are proven right. There are a lot of other stocks in other industries performing well where the risk is more defined.
