Some of the talking heads are reporting that the lack of even one Democratic senator signing on for the protest was apart of the deal to get the 50/50 committee assignments in the Senate. Don't know if it is true but it sounds reasonable. I would have thought that someone like Wellstone or Kennedy would have signed on.

Yep, father and son...and you never heard or will hear an original thought from the son. He is the worst kind of Democrat...one that no longer even bothers to think.

He was on the Chris Rock show last fall. Wow, I thought Rock was a Republican by comparison. Rock was hitting him with this, "lets get up off our own ass and build the best schools etc". Rock just tossed out example after example that, at least IMO, were based on Republican values. And Jackson spewed poppa's and the party's line.

Sad, very sad.
