I knew a lot of kids in my neighborhood over the 90s, when my son was younger. No one talked about their parents' pot smoking or drinking, even though I had broken down some of the reserve that exists between adults and children, and they confided other things to me, like their crushes or social anxieties. It is a "middle- middle" neighborhood, with a lot of master plumbers and lower level managers. I certainly cannot say what may have transpired in her classroom, but I can say that it is contrary to my experience........
