In an effort to figure out last week's market action and the week ahead, here's my BS prediction of what lies ahead. The fed interest rate reduction on Wed caught the market by surprise and the commercial shorts were caught in a huge losing position. After the euphoria by the retail investors subsided the fund managers put pressure on stock prices on Thur and Fri so they could cover. This week going forward, now that the commercial's have covered, I expect the market to start it's annual Jan rally and I look for an explosion in the small-cap markets.
