It has been projected that there will be 400 Million Worldwide subscribers to the wireless internet in by the end of 2003.

Based on current #'s this would represent a growth rate of approximately 120% to 135% per year over the next 3 to 4 years.

What is INSP market share worldwide. Have heard that it is approximately 85% in the United States. Need to get a feel for their international market share. Is it 10%, 20%, 40%, 60%????

It has been projected that the number of wireless internet subscribers in the U.S. will be approximately 40 Million in a few years. That is only about 10% of the total of 400 million projected worldwide subscribers. If INSP holds on to the current 85% market share then at that time it would represent about 34 Million subscribers.

What about the other 366 Million people worldwide that will be accessing the wireless internet?? What percentage will they have?

Huge potential. But they will not be alone in this market. Interesting to see how it plays out.

Also, there has been next to nothing said about the broadband aspect of the business since the GNET merger.
