and also the general background then the book Nakamura and myself wrote is a pretty good compilation. You wrote a book on LED's? And your opinion of CREE is??

Quick: Given your resume, I assume that you have some thoughts on LEDs generally, and I will second voop in that your thoughts on CREE would be interesting. That you have come to this thread hopefully says something. I also note that your web site makes at least passing mention of blue lasers. Since that is one of the holy grails for CREE, it would be really interesting to get your take on who the front runners are in that race, and what you think the timetable is for someone to get something into the market that has the durability for the mass market. Thanks for any thoughts you can share on the subjects. Jim
