Samsung recently disclosed that 2000 RDRAM shipments reached 30 million chips, valued
at US$900
million, for a 53% share of the global market. The company expects the global RDRAM
market will grow
to US$3.7 billion from US$1.7 billion last year. Samsung intends to upgrade its production
lines and
increase its DRAM output by 55%. However it has put its 12-inch wafer foundry
investment plan on hold,
pending future market development.

jim,

I thought it was the Westin Hotel in Santa Clara on Jan 31??

It's been in Palo Alto at the hotel on the ramp from El Camino to University (near the bus station and MacArthur's Park) for the last 3 years (I'm still blanking on the name of the hotel). Where did you hear the Westin?

Dave

<edit: I guess SFM1 just answered the question about the name of the hotel. Thanks, and "Go Gators" as well!>
