Probably a good dose of both is what's happening now. You are correct. I am over 60 and my friends and neighbors, non of which need to cut back on spending are. Some of the contributors are: triple energy costs, declining paper asset evaluations, higher gas prices and inflation in local taxes and food. This group of folks IMO is cutting spending big time!!!!
