I'm starting to think we print 1999.xx on the Naz much sooner than any of us think.

Very shortly ago, it seemed likely that we could possibly hit a ST low and either rally or go sideways for a few months.

Now I find this scenario highly unlikely.

Over the next few weeks, we are going to get earnings from many of the big cap techs and they will likely be bleak. I haven't seen too much lowering of future estimates yet. IMHO, digging into the financial statements should be a very telling sign of how fast the economy is slowing judging by how many tricks have to be pulled out to meet the estimates. It should also be telling as to how much longer they can keep up this rummy game (talking about the leveraged companies like INTC, MSFT, CSCO, etc. that entirely depend on income that has ZERO to do with their core business).
