hcm1943, Quite enlightening......... Excel version: Me: 7.0 Work: Properties from saved file does not detail info needed. I'll try to secure that info tomorrow. Network - none used, therefore one less problem to deal with! Rename and save to reopen - Now that's an idea! At work tomorrow, do you suggest I save it to anything else - like data, text, notepad, etc? And then reconvert at home? If I just started from scratch (!@#$%^*) at home in 7.0 would only a lesser version at work not be compatible? Thanks much. Tig
