It was actually Rambi that made that particular sexist generalization. And I have seen others on the LWP thread. Very disappointing from people who are taking issue about sexist behavior.

The answer to your question is that I find intelligence, power and drive to be incredibly attractive traits in women. Hillary's looks and gender preference are meaningless to me, I disagree with her politics and her style. But that isn't the issue, I have heard both men and women characterize Hillary as a closet lesbian....a lesbian friend of mine (who is very liberal, unlike me) was speculating on whether or not Hillary is a lesbian. But Rambi made the generalization about "men".

If I said "the reason that Bill Clinton got the female vote is that women found him to be attractive", that would be a sexist generalization. And this was certainly said by many people. This statement trivializes women's ability to make judgements based on values and intelligence, just as Rambi's statment trivializes men's ability to make similar judgements. I consider this example to be comparable to what Rambi stated.
