Tulvio,

I read that article last week...but the bottomline here is, during the last 5 years, the economy has gradually become more and mroe stock driven, and even great companies like MSFT and CSCO are inflating their earnings dramatically by stock option exercise, investment gains, etc. Now when these things are seeing a sudden death, they will have to come back and haunt (or suppress the bottom line growth of) these companies in the long run. Also don't forget that the top line growth will be hurt like hell because of contraction in corporate IT spending. Will mighty CSCO survive at last? Yes. But it will see lots and lots pains and its management team will have a huge challenge to try to smooth out the number, dealing with the pressure of raising pays to the employees......not to say that investors will be unlikely to pay the unrealistic premium to these growth issues in the future.

We are seeing the biotech getting job done today. It's not over yet. MLNM, HGSI, MYGN, those momentum favorites, still has at least 50% downside to go from current level.

larry!
