Hi Chaz,

I agree with everything you wrote; I look forward to a coherent WCDMA strategy coming from Nokia as soon as they can. I will probably be shouting from the rooftops second loudest only to Tero! In the meantime there is GSM/GPRS and I want Nokia to do whatever is necessary to dominate this transition.

EDGE and CDMA/WCDMA will be interesting developments in their own time. But these things take time and an economic slow-down of any type is only going to add to that time.

I consider my self to be a long-term investor but I cannot get too worked up about developments that are likely to be 3-5 years in the future. Especially when there is an enormous market in front of us right now that needs to be exploited. If you ask me what happens next I will say GPRS and a few upgrades of that. I can only guess how many quarters will be heavily impacted by GPRS revenue. 4,5,6,10? What do you think? Throughout that time things may change and the timeline and technology choices may have to be reevaluated.

I look forward to this year for some answers.

Best,
Terrapin
