Andreas, In the beginning Rambus was to be used, then MSFT changed to DDR. I found this strange because, again, in the beginning XBOX was a joint venture between INTEL and MSFT.

If it is DDR then that's good from my point of view. Only means that Micron is about to settle with Rambus.<g>

Nvidia might disagree that they need a licence from Rambus for DDR. But do they have a licence from Intel to put a P3 on a DDR chipset?

Hi andreas wonisch; Re RDRAM in X-Box. Forbes likely made the mistake due to confusing PS/2 with X-Box. A case of an author writing an article outside his specialty.

But hope springs eternal for Rambus morons.
