okay, that's what i didn't know.

"Although I did remeove AOL and could still not access with SNET"

not to keep harping on it, but from what i've read, uninstalling 6.0 goes well beyond the norm, requiring extensive manual registry edits. i do not have the articles handy, but they are sufficient in number and agony to earn titles along the lines of "AOL Hell".
