rather sobering to think that there are many people like this dude out there. they need the official line to keep their spirits up, but it's the same official line that has led them down the path of carelessness and perennial optimism when it's not justified anymore.

the j6p line is that everything comes back if you are young and patient enough. while the indexes will eventually roar back, what will be in those indexes ? a buy and hold of the set of dow railroad stocks won't fetch much today, save for the certificate value.
