I talked to several users of Ricochet services back in the R1 "28.8kbps" services days when I first considered using them.

Their experiences mirror the ones you describe.

Still, their special travelling experiences warranted Ricochet use, and justified for them, use of the service. They all had a variety of travelling gadgets.

I've only talked to one user of their 128 kbps service. She is mildly satisfied. She complains about lack of coverage, but has several fallbacks. She frequently is laying over at airports where the service is available, and says that, in that case, R2 enables her to get a lot done.

She works for an MCOM partner. Company subscribes the service for her (which is key).
