A young SofaSpudette in the making??? <lol> She didn't say anything, just quietly retreated to the TV. Its not an easy thing being a parent. There should be tests & exams, and intructions on "What not to do/say" when the $hit hits the fan. Its always when your the most stressed that those "daggers in the heart" happen. Thats why the love of a child is the Most Precious Memory :) At least you learned to shut down hot stoves, you know your 5 yr old would have gotten burned the way your day was going <grin> So I turned off the stove,went downstairs, put my arms around her, and said, "I'm sorry; that was completely unnecessary and uncalled for on my part. You didn't deserve to be treated that way." She'll remember that jeasture for a long time :) Dave
