I agree with this concept.. Sell the phones for $699.. Includes life time 911 calls, from anywhere in the United States.. And we do mean "ANYWHERE"..

The only problem with 911 Calls is that some fine folks in the US have lose terminology when it comes to "What is an Emergency".. You would have people dialing 911 from the Badlands of the Anza Borrego Desert saying that they have an emergency, because they did not put food out for the dog!! But, imagine that.. You would sell Thousands of Phones.. Hundred's of thousands.. But we still have that little debt problem to take care of!

There is no prepay service on Globalstar yet

Maurice,I am told the Peru gateway has two types of prepaid schemes, one of which is a scratch card, common in GSM flavor countries. The other is a prepay as you go,with MOU and other billing charges deducted directly from the customers account.
