you can bet that without payment guarantees the suppliers will force the issue by cutting off supplies...this ongoing disaster grows more dangerous by the day. methinks the shareholders, bondholders and other assorted creditors of the Cali utilities can kiss their money good-bye.

Does that state even have a governor? There is no way I would let this chit go down this way. (Don't anybody be flaming me with no libertarian crap about gov't intervention and, please, don't bother with the larger argument that the levers of gov't won't help at this juncture. -g)

This could turn out to be the early spark. You know, one that's written about in tomes to come. This could create some serious cash-flow issues.
