<<"CPQ is more than a pc company." CPQ is service, storage, wireless, supercomputers, high end servers, and more, AND they have a world-wide presence with a huuuuuuuuuge sales force. >>

To me, it just sounds like they are trying to catch up to IBM. I just think CPQ has been chasing what others were successful at and missed the boat each time.

This past boom, they were trying to be Dell. When they realized that there's no money pricing their hardware down to compete, they looked for someone else to mimic. Now it's IBM.

Anyway, at the current prices CPQ looks good for a rise to $30 in the next three years. After that, we'll see if they develop any more upside potential.

Three years is a long time. Time enough for more nimble competitors to enter those markets. Maybe Micron, HP, or Gazoozaflop will have service, storage, wireless, supercomputers, high end servers, and more......
