In the storage arena, terms such as “state-of-the-art” haven't been used as often as in other areas of networking technology. When this phrase has been used regarding storage, it was usually referring to a disk with exceptional speed. Today, it can be applied much more often due to the rapid pace at which new, innovative products are being developed.

Denis K. G., and others, don't mean to be too obtuse, in the pr piece linked to this response they were speaking of TrueSAN and Cevera in the same sentences, as though they were equal competitors, about to burst upon the scene... now one of them is on life support and one is ready to blow the trumpet at the next conference. A few months can make a difference.
