I don't usually say anything here, but finally had to react:

"...we cannot have a real bottom until we get a serious flush that instills panic and folks stop asking if it's a bottom."

Why? Because this guy says so? Get real. No ones knows what event(s) can or will cause it; it will just happen. Not one of us will know when, or if, there is a bottom until far after it happens.

We learn these things from looking back, not forward. All the rest is merely speculation.

Personally, I don't care any more. I'll continue to try and take what I'm given as best I can.

ROFLMAO!!!

Fleckenstein??? It must be bottom then.

But, at the same time, Joe B. (Batman) was calling for Nas 4300 by year end, so I think I'll take the middle and call for Nas 3400 by year end.

That's presumptive thinking to believe we need another Black Monday type day to experience a bottom. I thuink January 3rd was such a day. Prior to that we had three months of steady price drops. Every bit of bad news is now priced in but no good news or future potential. We have just re-tested the recent bottom three times in a row. Maybe there are a few stocks left which might come down to earth (like if QCOM were to miss or something) by they are nothing major. Even the leaders CSCO, SUNW, YHOO and INTC are at 52 week lows or damn close. Want to short into that and bet they're going lower go ahead but beware.
