No login = no problem, but then you can't post or read PMs.

The problem has to do with being logged in to SI and the GNET portal. The problem affects both sites because they share the same database architecture. As for being logged in the problem stems from passing a cookie - from page to page on SI which will cause the server error or a slow load time. If a lurker views SI they will not experience the problems that logged in users are experiencing. I hope this helps.
